Skiplex Ltd takes great pride in supporting the future of British Snow sports at all our indoor centres and in turn hearing about their successes. One of our regular yearly visitors to our Reading centre; the Heathfield School in Ascot have just returned from the British Schoolgirls Races 2017 with great success. We therefore asked their Director of Sixth Form, Jeremy Hart, to share their great news of these potential future British stars. – Steve Woodward, Managing Director, Skiplex Ltd

“Heathfield School enjoyed a number of training sessions at Skiplex before heading to Flaine in France for the British Schoolgirls’ Ski Racing. The training was fun and enjoyable, built up the girls’ stamina and improved their technique. We returned after the two days of racing clutching a handful of medals. Thea won two bronze and one silver medal in the U21 age group and Catherine two bronze medals in the U16 group. All of the girls benefitted from two more days of training with Pierre of the ESF in Flaine before the races and learned a great deal. Conditions on the two race days varied, from freezing temperatures and snow, to mild and rainy, but the girls persevered and recorded some good times. Team spirit was high throughout. Roll on next year!”
